Julabo Refrigerated-Heating Circulators, Economy ED and EH Series
Overview
Julabo offers fine temperature control solutions to the world. The very wide range of Julabo Refrigerated and Heating Circulators are suitable for many laboratory and industrial heating and cooling applications, either in external systems or with simultaneous operation in the bath tank. Three performance levels are available, with many choices of performance and features within each level.
Here we briefly review some of the features of the Economy ED and EH Series. The other performance levels are the TopTech MA and ME Series and the HighTech HE and HL Series.
Briefly the differences between the series are:
Economy ED, models available up to working temperatures from -30 °C to +100 °C, for use with non-flammable bath fluids.
Economy EH, models available up to working temperatures from -35 °C to +150 °C, allowing use with flammable bath fluids.
TopTech MA, models available up to working temperatures from -50 °C to +200 °C, with external temperature control
TopTech ME, models available up to working temperatures from -50 °C to +200 °C, with external temperature control and enhanced features such as improved temperature stability.
HighTech ME, models available up to working temperatures from -50 °C to +200 °C, Intelligent Cascade Control for control accuracy, powerful electronically adjustable pressure and suction pump.
HighTech HL, providing sophisticated technology and maximum functionality for the most demanding applications.
Typical applications are to heat or cool external, closed systems, such photometers, refractometers, viscometers and other such instruments. At the same time small objects can be heated or cooled in the circulator bath. The higher performance models are used in more demanding tasks such as temperature control in jacketed reaction vessels, autoclaves or kilo labs.
