Oxygen Sensors, Hamilton VisiFerm DO Arc and DO Arc B Optical
Overview
The VisiFerm DO is the first optical sensor ever for the measurement of dissolved oxygen that has significant advantages compared to classical Clark cells because there is no electrolyte needed and the luminophore is embedded in a robust sensor cap. Typical applications are biotechnology, water treatment and monitoring as well as in breweries, wineries and soft drink processing. Outstanding long-term
stability, even after frequent sterilization and autoclaving.
The VisiFerm DO Arc adds innovative Arc technology, while the VisiFerm DO Arc B is designed for use in breweries, with an active brewery mode and Cleaning in Place (CIB) technology. The VisiFerm DO Arc B brewery and CIP modes allow accurate measurements during fermentation, filtration and filling when calibration after each CIP is difficult.
In contrast to the standard VisiFerm™ DO, the VisiFerm™ DO Arc sensors do not have an ECS (electrochemical sensor) interface, but the DO Arc B (ECS) models are available with it.
