The Macherey-Nagel DURASIL-25 family of superb quality glass TLC plates features the same unmodified silica 60 used in the MH SIL G-25 glass plates, but with a special binder that results in a hard, resilient, water resistant and wettable surface with outstanding separation properties and distinct selectivities.
The DURASIL-25 plates are available with or without a green fluorescence 254 nm indicator. DURASIL-25 plates show superior separation characteristics in the fields of environmental, clinical, medical and organic analyses. Substances separated so far include flavonoids, barbiturates, bile, acids, nitroanilines, pesticides and steroids.
