Syringe Filters, Cellulose Acetate, Sterile and Non-Sterile
Overview
European manufactured syringe filters that feature a hydrophilic cellulose acetate membrane, embedded in a robust 25 mm housing of Cyrolite®, an advanced acrylic based multipolymer compound.
These cellulose acetate syringe filters are intended for single use, ready to be used in clarification or sterilization in aqueous samples, biological fluids, protein samples, enzymes, cellular culture media, serum samples, alimentary samples, or wine sampling. They have a non-specific low protein adsorption characteristic. Other features are a uniform pore structure and high thermal stability, resulting in fast flow speeds.
Five available pore sizes from 0.20 to 5.0 µm, a filtration area of 5.3 cm2, a hold volume of 0.1 mL with maximum pressure of 60 hPa with 50 hPa break point, and maximum operating temperature of 50ºC.
Available as individually wrapped sterile filters in boxes of 50 or non-sterile in boxes of 100 or 500.
Features of the Cellulose Acetate Syringe Filters:
Hydrophilic cellulose acetate membrane in a 25 mm Cyrolite housing
Important non-specific low adsorption characteristic
Ready to use single use device
Inlet and outlet luer-lock
Available sterile or non-sterile
Sterilization done by gamma radiation
Available in pore sizes 0.20, 0.45, 0.80, 1.20 and 5.0 µm
