High Temperature Heating Baths - with Air, Liquid or Sand, IKA HB 10 Digital, IKA HBR 4 Digital (with Stirring), PZ 26-4, PZ 26-7 and MB/28P
Overview
Five unique heating baths and heating and stirring baths suitable for rotary evaporators or for special needs where high temperature and enhanced safety are desired.
The IKA HB 10 Digital heating bath is an oval shape unit suitable for use with oil or water for heat transfer, with a useful volume of 3 liters and 1,350 watts of heat output. Key features include optimized shape for quick heating, integrated carrying handles, and an infrared interface for communicating with the digitally controlled IKA Works RV 10 rotary evaporator. Material in contact with media is stainless steel.
The advanced model IKA HBR 4 Digital heating and magnetic stirring bath has features such as an integrated magnetic stirring drive to circulate the tempering fluid, digital display of temperature and speed, fuzzy logic control and adjustable temperature limiter. Material in contact with media is stainless steel.
The PZ 26-4 and PZ 26-7 heating baths are designed and constructed with special materials for much higher temperature applications. The temperature of each model is displayed and controlled digitally, and may go up to the maximum of 400°C or 700°C respectively. PZ 26-4 is suitable as fluid, air or sand bath, but the PZ 26-7 is not suitable as a fluid bath. Both models may be connected to a contact thermometer and are equipped with a screw-on fixture for a standup rod of 12 mm diameter. Solidly built of stainless steel and designed for continuous duty.
MB 28/P is a multi-purpose fluid bath with an especially large immersion depth of 280 mm and bath interior diameter of 220 mm. It has two screw in sockets for supporting retort rods. The MB 28/P heating bath is built of stainless steel.
