Hotplate Stirrers, Reversible Agimatic-Rev-TFT and Rev-TFT-C Magnetic with Time Control
Overview
For those applications in which timing has to be programmed in the use of a hotplate stirrer as well as reverse stirring, the Agimatic-Rev-TFT or Agimatic-Rev-TFT-C are the ideal units. Like the well known brands from IKA or Heidolph Instruments, these reversible magnetic stirrer hotplates offer precise, medium load stirring with very good temperature control via a temperature sensor, but in addition have a time control feature which is not available in most brands.
The Agimatic-Rev-TFT and Agimatic-Rev-TFT-C reversible stirring hotplates offer precise stirring speed from 50 to 1,500 rpm and adjustable temperatures from 50 to 350ºc with precision of ± 2ºC. They are suitable for stirring capacity of up to 10 liters of water and have a circular platform of diameter 145 mm.
The ability to periodically reverse stirring offers advantages such as faster mixing to reduce stirring time, establishment of a controlled vortex effect, quick elimination of air from within a sample or minimization of splashing.
The TFT touch screen technology allows the user to easily enter parameters and save programs for repeatable experiments as well as process control. Electronic control of frequency of an inverting period can be set from 10-30 seconds.
