Overview
The Infors Orbitron Orbital Shakers are strongly built to perform reliably with long, continuous use. The “Penta-Drive” dynamic mass balancing guarantees extremely quiet, vibration-free running, even when the load itself is not balanced.
The platforms are attached at five points to insure low wear and precise shaking. The Orbitron shakers also feature user friendly digital control for timer and speed, and the precision to reproduce shaker action independent of speed and load. Start up and shut down are performed progressively and gently.
The large LED operating panel is splash proof and the rust proof housing keeps liquids out, even if a flask breaks. Orbitron shakers have water tight motors and function well in humid and high CO2 conditions, making them ideal for use in large incubators. The shaker runs on low voltage, with an external power supply, preventing the potential risk of electrical shock in case of flask breakage.
The whole design, with rounded, wide radius corners, is designed to be easy to wipe and clean.
A choice of two sizes of universal platforms is available, the ATF (800 x 420 mm) and the extra large ATM (850 x 470 mm). A Infors Sticky Stuff adhesive mat enables the Universal Platform to be used flexibly with various flask sizes, without the need for flask clamps, saving money and valuable time. Flask clamps are also available if needed, as well as dedicated trays.
