Overview
GVS NitroBind™ pure nitrocellulose transfer membranes are the choice for all protein or immunoblotting applications. The high sensitivity ensures excellent results in all transfers, especially in protein blotting
GVS NitroPure™ nylon supported nitrocellulose transfer membranes combine the binding characteristics of pure nitrocellulose with the strength of a nylon membrane. GVS NitroBind™ transfer membranes can be replaced with GVS NitroPure™ nylon supported membranes with no change in protocols.
Nitrocellulose Mixed Esters (MCE) form a hydrophilic membrane with high binding capacity. Manufactured with consistent uniform pore structure for selectivity and fast flow.
Typical Applications include Northerns, Southerns, Westerns, Dot/slot blots, Radiographic, Chromogenic and Chemiluminescent Detection systems, Multiple re-hybridizations, Colony/plaque lifts and Biotinylated detection systems.
Membranes are available in rolls up to 13 inches (33cm), as well as sheets, cut disk, and pleat packs that can be customized to meet application and size requirements.
