Heating Mantles, Glas-Col Series O, and PowrTrol Voltage Controllers
Overview
Glas-Col Series O Heating Mantles are a very popular choice for soft, gentle, fabric heating tools for round bottom flasks.
Soft cloth heating mantles are preferred over other choices for heating such as burners or hot plates, especially for organic liquids. The Series Q heating mantles provide even heating with no hot spots, and large surface coverage yields better temperature uniformity.
The Glas-Col Series O Heating Mantles cover only the round bottom flask’s bottom half, making it possible to keep the entire contents in view. They should be used with Series O supports and through a power controller such as the PowrTrol Proportional Voltage Controllers.

Glass fabric exterior for 50 mL to 500 mL
Silicone impregnated moisture resistant glass fabric exterior for 1000 mL to 5,000 mL
Detachable 4 foot 2 wire power cord and locking connector
Available in 115 V or 230 V, and satisfying American, Canadian (CSA) or European (CE) approval standards
