COD Reactor, the CR 25 Microprocessor Controlled Block Heater
Overview
The newly updated model CR 25 COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) reactor is used to digest closed micro reflux COD vials and can meet USEPA 410.4. Applications include evaluating waste water from industrial facilities as well as water quality in lakes and rivers. The new model CR 25 makes an excellent microprocessor controlled block heater as well.

Features of the CR 25 COD Reactor:
Easier and safer than open macro reflux method
Compliant with regulations, USEPA 410.4
Special COD Program – Can heat up to 150°C and keep for 2 hours or 165ºC and keep for minutes then shut down automatically with 10 second audio alarm
Stored program: COD 150ºC , 120 min (standard mode), COD2 165ºC, 20 min (pre-heated mode)
2 Additional User programs
Temperature range setting from 30 to 200ºC and timer from 1 ~ 999 minutes, 2 additional heating program settings available for users to store and execute as needed
Auto shut-off and audio alarm, can stop heating, then shut off automatically with audio alarm when s program is completed
Anti-heat PTFE plate on surface prevents burns from the block
The block shuts off when block temperature is over 220ºC
