Overview

Standard 10L and 20L PP Carboys with available pre-assembled leak-proof stopcocks are made from polypropylene and are autoclavable. They are ideal for storing and dispensing various laboratory solutions. Wide handles make for convenient carrying and pouring.

EZgrip™BPA-Free FDA USP Class VI HDPE 2.5L, 5L, 10L, 20L, 40L and 75L Carboys are designed to provide users with a highly versatile container that maximizes storage efficiency and ease of use. The distinctive rectangular shape saves valuable bench space. Larger handles on top of the container and molded grips in the base provide a full, secure grip to make lifting, handling, and pouring easy. The wide 80mm neck, and wider 120mm neck available in sizes 20L, 40L and 75L makes it easier to reach inside the carboy for cleaning. Carboy material and volume are clearly imprinted on the outside of the bottle as well as large, easy to read, metric graduation marks which are certified to ± 5% accuracy.

These EZgrip Carboys are made from a translucent USP Class VI, FDA Grade resin High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) resin, with excellent chemical resistance, making them ideal for most buffers and reagents as well as powders and solids. The VersaCap® and VersaBarb® technology provide interchangeable, leak-proof connections.

Note: These carboys are not designed to be used under pressure or full vacuum. USP Class VI resins are tested for one hour at 120°C for migration of ingredients. They should not be used to store oxidizing agents or for long term storage of strong organic compounds.
