Centrifugal Vacuum Evaporators and Concentrators, the MaxiVac Alpha and MaxiVac Beta
Overview
The ScanSpeed MaxiVac Alpha system offers the versatility of fast vacuum concentrating or drying biological or non-biological materials in a diverse range of solvents, and the flexibility of handling macro or micro sample volumes.
The ScanSpeed MaxiVac Beta systems offers the versatility of low temperature vacuum concentrating or drying biological or non- biological materials in a diverse range of solvents and the flexibility of handling macro or micro samples together with allowing multi-purpose freeze drying.
Ideal for vacuum concentration of large sample volumes from 200×1.5/2,0 ML Eppendorf tubes, Microwell plates, 15 to 50 mL tubes as well as 4×250 mL bottles
The unique Seamless Condenser of the Cold Trap -110 °C ensures fast and reproducible drying.
Automatic system includes timer and start/stop functions with full programming and storage of all operating parameters.
Optional teflon coating is available on both the MaxiVac and the Cold Trap -110 °C, for longevity and protection from corrosion, especially when working with aggressive acids and solvents such as 6N HCL, TFA, DMSO and TSO as used in peptide precipitation.
Pressure regulation is also an option to improve evaporation rates and avoid overheating volatile samples.
