The Büchi R-100 rotary evaporator is an entry level Rotavapor® designed to meet the essential needs in evaporation and Büchi’s high quality standards. It is capable of a manually adjustable rotation speed of 20 to 280 rpm and equipped with an action jack lift for manual lifting of the evaporating flask.
The R-100 Rotavapor can be purchased with either a Vertical Condenser (V-type), the most common for standard applications, or a Dry-Ice Condenser (C-type), ideally suited for the distillation of solvents with low boiling points,.
Available plastic coated glass (P+G) protects the operator from glass splitters in the event of implosions or explosions. In addition the sample remains within the glass and can be recovered.
Aside from the selected condenser the Büchi R-100 rotary evaporator is supplied with a Büchi B-100 Heating Bath that has digital adjustment and display with a power safety cut-off when actual temperature exceeds set temperature or when there is a rapid temperature increase. Receiving and evaporating 1 L flasks are included as well as a vapor duct. Systems are available that include the V-100 Vacuum Pump, Interface I-100 Vacuum Controller and the F-100 and F-105 Recirculating Chillers
The Büchi Vacuum Pump V-100 is an economical and chemically resistant PTFE diaphragm vacuum pump with a space saving design. It covers the essential needs in vacuum generation. On/off-regulated by the Interface I-100, it is optimally suited to work with the Rotavapor® R-100.
The Büchi Recirculating Chillers F-100 and F-105 are environmentally friendly and water saving labora¬tory devices to cool a lab size rotary evaporator. The cooling temperature of the F-100 is fixed at 10 °C, whereas the F-105 features a range of -5 °C to +25 °C.
Büchi rotary evaporators can be configured in many ways, to suit individual needs and budgets. Examples are given in the ordering information.
