The compact VX-200 vortex mixer is a very versatile device with variable speed and a circular, rather than elliptical, orbit. Vortexing is achieved more quickly and at a lower speed.
The VX-200 features an optimized counter balance that lessens noise and vibration. It does not require suction feet to stay in position, so is easily moveable about a laboratory. The VX-200 is safe to use in temperature controlled environments.
The standard CombiCup head accepts a variety of tube sizes and a full range of other heads are available to accommodate microplates, microtubes, PCR strip tubes,15 and 50 mL tubes and blood tubes. The heads are easy to change, just pull up to remove and press down to replace.
