Shaking Incubators, INFORS Minitron with Clean Magnetic Coupling
Overview
The INFORS Minitron uses a magnetic coupling for the shaker drive, and that makes the separation of shaker motor from incubation chamber clean and absolute. It is easy to clean the interior of the Minitron if faced with a flask leak or break. The Minitron is ideal for clean room applications.
The ingenious design of the Infors shakers features a front-loading pullout platform, stainless steel interior panels, panoramic front window, and inspection light. The downward tilting door provides a practical area for the removable tray and easy access to its contents without complete removal.
Although the Minitron has a relatively small footprint it accepts flasks up to 5 L and two units can be stacked. The shaking tray is 475 × 420 mm and there is room for a shelf to accommodate static incubating.
The standard or basic version is configured to offer monitoring and control of temperature, speed, time, and automatic restart from an easy to use and accessible operating panel. Refrigeration, humidity and CO2 control are available, as well as a variety of lighting options, to specifically design a Minitron for any application.
