Overview
Welch’s two-stage rotary vane pumps are always an option when an ultimate pressure level from 0.5 mbar to 1×10-4 mbar is required. Depending on the pump model the pumping speed range lies between 1.8 m³/h and 60 m³/h.
The new CRVpro product series provides the highest reliability for stable operation and long product lifespan. A larger oil chamber reduces risk of chemical attacks and oil breakdown by diluting aggressive chemicals, offering less maintenance costs by extending oil change intervals. Its cool running characteristic slows down any corrosion process and reduces oil consumption.
A chemical resistant coating protects the stationary components.
The low weight, flexible handle and compact design make the rotary vane pump a portable and flexible partner in laboratories and industrial applications. With its exceptionally low sound level the CRVpro series ensures that users work in calm surroundings.
The wide range of accessories, such as separator and oil mist filters, allows the user to assemble a pump based on individual needs. Welch also offers pre-defined accessory packages for different kinds of applications based on long term application experience. When it comes to services like oil exchanges, users benefit from a smart pump design that allows for a simple disassembly and reassembly of the pump.
In addition to the standard pump models, Welch offers customized rotary vane pumps if specific solutions are needed. The initial sizes are in the series are the CRVpro 4, CRVpro 6 and CRVpro 8, and new sizes will be available.
All the features you'd expect in a direct drive pump, including forced oil lubrication (moving parts are bathed in fresh oil for even temperatures), anti-suck back valve (in case of power loss) and gas ballast (protects pump from condensable liquids in applications).
Each pump is supplied complete with Welch vacuum pump oil, 2 centering rings, 2 clamps and motor overload protection.. Also included is hose barb adapter. The pump is ready for use after oil filling.
Features of the CRVpro Direct Drive High Vacuum Pumps:
Cool Running – Enhanced air flow allows the pump to run at 10º cooler than standard rotary vane pumps. The lower temperatures lead to reduced chemical activity within the pump and slows down rates of oil consumption.
Internal Surface Protection – Inside surface of the oil case has a PTFE coating and the outer surface of the pumping module has a black oxide coating. Both coatings act to slow metal corrosion and when coupled with foreline traps, extend service intervals.
Large Oil Capacity – Enhance the dilution of chemical vapors that sublime from foreline cold trap into the pump oil. This minimizes the rate of oil breakdown and reduces chemical attacks within the pump.
