Overview
In the Memmert Humidity Chambers Models HCP 108, HCP 153 and HCP 246 high-precision control technology creates controlled and physiologically ideal surroundings for perfect environment simulation in building physics, construction materials, electronics, biology, zoology, botany and materials science.
The high-precision temperature and humidity control, the heating from all six sides, and a non-turbulent ventilation system in the working chamber insure reliability independent of chamber volume and load and an interior free of condensation.
The special feature of the HCP Humidity Chambers is the particularly uniform conditions inside the chamber. The air is heated by large-area all round heating. Humidity is provided by a dry steam generator that produces controlled evaporation of water supplied from an external tank by a self-priming pump. The sterile dry steam is introduced into the chamber above the fan and mixed into the air flow. A continuous uniform atmosphere is ensured by the turbulence-free chamber ventilation
Humidification and dehumidification control starts to operate approximately five minutes after the set temperature has been reached.
