Natural Convection Drying Ovens for Decarboxylation, DO-NG and DO-NGE Series
Overview
The DO-NG and DO-NGE Series of Natural Convection Drying Ovens are designed for decarboxylation of plant materials. Specifically, in the cannabis industry, decarboxylation is the chemical reaction that removes a carboxyl group from the THC-A molecule, releases carbon dioxide and activates the psychoactive THC. These natural convection drying ovens are ideal for this function because they offer careful control of the decarb process to produce reliable and more predictable outcomes.
A variety of models are available in capacities of 54, 100, and 149 liters, with the DO-NG models having a 250 °C limit and the more economical DO-NGE dryers having a limit of 220 °C. The DO-NG dryers have a tempered glass observation window. Each oven is CSA Certified and is supplied with 2 stainless steel wire shelves, with more shelves available.
The DO-NG and DO-NGE drying ovens feature excellent temperature uniformity and accuracy, stainless steel internal chambers and are designed for continuous operation. Safety is assured with CE Conformity and CSA Certification.
