Overview
The MaxMag-50L and MaxMag-200L are high capacity magnetic stirrers intended for use in chemical and biological processing where there is a need to stir, mix or agitate solutions or reactants for effective processing. In particular, chemists often find lack of magnetic power when performing reactions which can lead to low yields, unreacted materials and overall poor performance. Additionally, when using large heating mantles that need to be magnetically stirred these high capacity magnetic stirrers are ideal tools for the tasks.
In addition to the heavy load capacity, these units are able to operate at a speed range from 100 – 1000 rpm in increments of 1 rpm and with accuracy of ± 10 rpm. The units can be programmed for 1 to 99 hours and 59 minutes or to run continuously.
The MaxMag stirrers are equipped with stainless steel surfaces and could be complimented with an optional frame for holding large vessels. Adjustable height wheels also facilitate ideal positioning of the vessel on the base for proper stirring without over-loading the plate surface of the stirrer.
