Vacuum Pumps, Chemical Duty Diaphragm with Explosion Proof Motor
Overview
The Models 2085 and 2090 corrosion resistant diaphragm vacuum pumps are driven by explosion-proof motors rated for Class 1 Hazardous Locations (HazLock).
The aluminum pump head is PTFE coated and the diaphragm is covered by a PTFE liner to separate chemical media from the diaphragm. The explosion proof motor is directly coupled to the diaphragm pumping module. Stainless steel tubing is used to connect pump heads together in one (2085) or two-stage (2090) configurations.
These chemical duty explosion proof vacuum pumps do not come with an On/Off switch, plug or power cord but must be conduit wired to an On/Off explosion control panel. A certified electrician must be used for proper installation of the vacuum pump with explosion proof motor to meet local municipal codes.
