Overview

Crest Ultrasonics patented ceramically enhanced transducers provide greater cleaning power and reliability, compared to conventional wafer-type transducers. This high performance technology has been applied to the PowersonicTM line of benchtop ultrasonic cleaners.

These tabletop cleaners ensure uniform cleaning throughout the tank by sweeping the ultrasonic frequency 3 kHz, which creates overlapping ultrasonic waves. This approach eliminates inconsistent cleaning due to hot spots (areas of intense ultrasonic activity) in the cleaning solution that are caused by unmoving standing waves produced by conventional ultrasonic power supplies.

Three control configurations are available: analog timed (T, with 0-30 minute timer), analog timed and heated (HT, with 0-30 minute timer and thermostatically controlled heat ambient to 80°C), and digitally controlled (DT, with 0-99 minute timer, heat, power and degas functions). Eight standard sizes meet any laboratory applications and requirements.
